Movement Gym Murals

2022 Lincoln Park, Chicago | 700 sq. ft.

I worked with the Lincoln Park Movement team as well as the national Brand Director to design 2 murals representing the theme of radical inclusivity while incorporating local climbing areas and nature-inspired elements. The top-floor mural contains imagery of flora and fauna from a few local climbing destinations such as The Red River Gorge, Devil’s Lake, and Jackson Falls (chicken of the woods, the pawpaw, and the long tailed salamander are a few examples). The lower floor mural has a complementary color palette with abstracted climbing knots weaving through the design. Being from Chicago, I’ve always been rooted in this climbing community so this project was a fun way to merge my art practice with my climbing background. Check it out in Chicago!
