Hello! I’m Peggy Flavin, an artist and muralist based in Utah. Originally from Chicago, I’ve always been influenced by the power of public art. Through my artwork, I hope to transform spaces while celebrating the stories and places that inspire me.
I’ve always been interested in themes of sustainability, nature, and community interaction with art in public spaces. In addition to my work as an artist, I am also a professional mountain guide. I travel seasonally to lead technical climbing ascents in places like Denali, the Tetons, and the deserts of Utah and Nevada. I draw inspiration from the extended time I spend on glaciers, surrounded by sandstone in the desert, and living in the wilderness. You can find my work in unique venues including (but not limited to) an indoor climbing wall in Illinois or a fully-functional solar panel array on a rooftop in Jackson Hole, WY. I love to experiment with new materials and to explore the intersection of art and nature.
Let’s collaborate! In addition to murals, I also specialize in customized artwork, logo design, and illustration. Please reach out to discuss your project and to learn more about my design process.
