Hello! My name is Peggy, and I create murals, custom artwork, and illustrations. I also design logos, create custom signage, and offer live painting sessions at events.

I earned my BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Environmental Design and Painting. I’ve always been interested in themes of sustainability, nature, and interaction with art in public spaces. As an artist and small business owner, I have an 8 year track record of successfully creating site-specific art pieces and transforming spaces. You’ll find my work in unique venues including (but not limited to) on an indoor climbing wall in Illinois or on a fully-functional solar panel array on a rooftop in Jackson Hole, WY. I love to experiment with new materials and to explore the intersection of art and nature.

In addition to my work as an artist, I am also a professional mountain guide. I travel seasonally to lead technical climbing ascents of mountains in places like Denali, the Tetons, the deserts of Utah and Nevada, and more. I love weaving visual themes from my experiences in nature into my work as an artist. My design process, especially for murals, is often community driven and I am always looking for new ways to engage a wider audience in the process to create a meaningful experience from start to finish.
